Formed in 2010 by Mitchell W. May and Adam M. Perza, we are a full service law firm representing clients throughout the State of Delaware primarily in areas of Family Law, Elder Law and Estate Planning, Small Business, Bankruptcy and Real Estate. Mitch May is a partner at May & Perza and practices primarily in the areas of Estate Law and Elder Planning, Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Real Estate.  Admitted to practice in 2002, he has been helping clients navigate their legal issues for more than fifteen years.  Mitch works hard to help his clients toward a solution that meets their goals based on the circumstances of their individual case.

Mitch has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from The George Washington University and a J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.  After graduating from law school, Mitch was a law clerk in the Court of Common Pleas in Kent and Sussex Counties.  Prior to forming May & Perza, Mitch was an attorney with the law firm of Street & Ellis.

Adam Perza is a partner of the firm May & Perza and maintains a legal practice that includes residential and commercial real estate transactions, mortgage refinancing, and small business law.  Adam is a past president of the Kent County Bar Association and past vice president of the Delaware State Bar Association.

Prior to practicing law Adam was an environmental engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware, and Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Adam is a former law clerk to the Delaware Supreme Court Justice James Vaughn during his tenure on Delaware Superior Court.

Adam is an active member with Holy Cross Parish in Dover and the Knights of Columbus, and former city councilman of the City of Dover.
